Paying for a VPS with cryptocurrency.
A crypto VPS is a virtual server paid for with a digital asset. The server still needs the right CPU, memory, storage and operating system for your workload. The difference is the payment process: an invoice identifies an asset, a blockchain network, an address, an exact amount and a payment deadline.
Choose the network before sending.
The same token name can appear on different networks. A payment sent on the wrong network is not automatically a payment for your invoice. Match the complete asset and network combination in your wallet.
| Network | Invoice asset | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Bitcoin | BTC | Native Bitcoin address and amount |
| Ethereum / ERC20 | USDT | Ethereum USDT token, not ETH |
| TRON / TRC20 | USDT | TRON USDT token, not TRX |
| BNB Smart Chain / BEP20 | Binance-pegged USDT | The supported pegged token, not BNB |
Availability is shown on the invoice. A shared ticker does not make every token contract interchangeable. Tether lists its own supported networks in its protocol documentation; the BSC asset is a separate Binance-pegged token.
Pay the exact invoice amount.
The storefront can display prices in USDT, USD or EUR. A payable invoice converts the plan’s supplier-currency price into a time-limited crypto amount using current market rates; these currencies are not assumed equal. Use the exact amount, and account for any withdrawal or network fee your wallet deducts. Automatic verification does not combine split payments or treat an overpayment as an exact match.
A transaction hash starts verification.
A copied hash, screenshot or wallet balance is not proof that an invoice has been paid. The payment checker must inspect the actual transaction, supported token, destination, amount, inclusion time and confirmation state. Confirmation can take longer than broadcasting. A transaction included before invoice expiry can finish confirming afterwards. Do not send a second payment just because verification is still pending.
Renew before the paid period ends.
Your server runs for its paid service period. Renewal becomes available in My servers seven days before expiry and requires a new crypto invoice. Complete the payment and provider confirmation before the expiry shown in your console. An unpaid service may be suspended at expiry; a recovery code does not extend hosting or guarantee that expired data can be restored.
Email-only signup is a smaller data footprint.
The anonVPS account form uses an email address instead of a name, telephone number or identity document. That email is also essential for recovery warnings. Public blockchains and infrastructure providers still exist outside this account form: minimal signup is not a promise of untraceable activity.
Choose a server you can manage.
An unmanaged VPS puts software updates, application security and independent backups in your hands. Size memory for the applications you actually intend to run, and check the confirmed deployment location and resource limits when live plans become available.
